The IOA was formally recognized as a top performing affiliate for membership market share growth on Friday, June 23, 2023, during the AOA House of Delegates meeting. "This honor displays the significant hard work, endurance, and success that your Association has achieved over the past several years to meet the many needs of existing members all the while recruiting more optometrists into the folds and great understanding of organized optometry. This is an amazing performance and will be celebrated as such," said AOA Secretary-Treasurer Jacquie Bowen, OD. An award was presented to IOA leadership and a flag commemorating the achievement was prominently displayed in the House of Delegates alongside the Indiana affiliate name plate.
