HIP 2.0

On January 27, 2015 Governor Pence announced that CMS has approved the Healthy Indiana Plan waiver application, known as HIP 2.0.  The implementation date was February 1, 2015.  There are four levels of plans: HIP Plus, HIP Basic, HIP State Plan, and HIP link. 

Coverage will be provided by one of four managed care entities: Anthem, MDWise, CareSource, or MHS.  

Vision care is available for HIP Plus members and those enrolled in HIP State Plan. See the Vision Services Provider Reference Module and Healthy Indiana Plan Reimbursement Manual for more information.
